Wes Nickerson is a singer-songwriter in the folk tradition, who plays acoustic and electric ukulele and keyboard. Wes grew up in Bangor, Maine and now lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He has performed his original songs and instrumentals at many open mics and private parties around the Boston area and New England. What fans are saying: “I hear so much love in his voice,” “Beautiful,” “Outstanding,” “A really great folksinger.”

A creative dreamer since childhood, Wes graduated from Maine College of Art and was a professional graphic designer and illustrator for most of his adult life. He has always been interested in music, but found his musical passion in 2010. He has composed nearly 300 songs since he began writing original songs in 2015. He has three published albums of original music, with several more on the way.

He recently had a private album release party on Zoom with family and friends, for his third album called “Returning Home,” on the topic of – you guessed it – family and friends. His second album, “In the Trees,” has a nature theme. The first album “On Keys” is all original instrumental keyboard music. He will be performing on October 2, 2021 at Somerville Porchfest.
